We - 2 sons - would love to find a person to take care of our mother.
She is a lively person from Catalan origin with (beginning)dementia that needs companionship from a person that she can connect to.
She speaks Dutch, Spanish, Catalan, English, French and more. She is very culturally interested; classical music, opera, ballet and plays. She used to play bridge and golf. She studied in 1960ties in Paris, was an interpreter, developed own language learning courses and gave Spanish lessons.

She is physically in good shape but lately needs more help with keeping daily rhythm, daily tasks and getting out of her home. This as she doesn’t take initiative anymore and forgets basic routines. This leaves her feeling isolated and lonely.

The support system in NL provides good help at home on several areas and there are lots of activities close by. So care is currently about organising her care and activities, taking her out, keeping company, prepare/organise a meal, keep house in order, accompany her on holidays. Over time more care needs may arise.

Speaking Dutch and/or English is a must to connect to other caregivers. Support and hours are flexible depending on activities, support of others, family visits etc. Most Sundays she visits family for the afternoon& dinner.

She has a car and is able + allowed to drive (recent test done) but we prefer her to be driven.

She lives in a suburb of Amersfoort in a 3 floor attached house of approx 130m2.
Ground floor: hall, toilet, storage space, living/dining room, kitchen.
1st floor: 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom
2nd floor: living /TV room
