My most recent work as a Private Duty Nurse/Caregiver was with an American Family in China, my patient was 84 Pre-Dementia, alot of responsibilities included keeping him active, exercise, take my patient to the park almost everyday, if we don’t go out then we work-out inside our own gym at home, I cook for my patient whatever he wants, reminds him of his medication, take him to doctors appointments every week. I make sure my patient is happy and healthy and that we get along.

I had formerly worked in a home-care facility in United Arab Emirates for a year, we were assigned to different patients each month or depending on the need of the facility and have dealt with varied conditions such as Dementia, Alzheimer, patients in vegetative state, patient with wheelchair, patient feeding and giving medication in tubes (PEG,NGT).
Also has care-giving experience back in my home country Philippines and it was also an amazing experience and my pleasure to serve. I also cared for my late father who passed away April 2017, He was diagnosed with colon cancer stage 4(but this is another story).
Most of my patients were diabetic, I monitor their blood sugars, tempt, hypertensive (monitor BP), give insulin shots(if they were required), document every activity, give massage for bedridden patients, giving medications, re-positioning bed ridden patients, bathe, keeping them company, I always love and always a pleasure to keep our elderly company. I like the elders company to be honest more than the people my age.
I recently completed my bachelor’s degree in Psychology. It adds to my knowledge and understanding in dealing with human beings in general.
