Introduction
I have taken care of my elderly relatives - Dad, Aunt and Uncle for more than 10 years whilst holding a full time job.
One struggled with Diabetes, two were visually impaired and my Aunt was bedridden for 10 years. My care including Personal hygiene, tidying the home, administering medication, meal preparation and companionship especially in the evenings and at nights. Companionship included playing games, reading aloud, listening to stories and music.
I also volunteered with my local church and NGO to assist with caring other elderly persons in our town .
I am certified in providing First Aid, can administer shots if necessary and read prescriptions and administer medications in the correct dose.
