I am a senior care provider with 7 years of live in/out paid and referenced experience. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant seeking employment.
I am previously employed in Connecticut by a family health advocate agency, where I work as a live-in nursing assistant under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. I have worked with patients with Parkinson’s Decease, Congestive heart failure,Dementia, Bipolar and those under Hospice care.
My previous employer is an elderly woman with late-stage Alzheimer's disease, chronic venous stasis ulcers and other ailments. In addition to maintaining full care giving responsibilities which were based primarily on the safety and comfort of my client, I managed a large household and cared for the family's two dogs.
The skills I have gained over the years are demonstrated through gentle feeding routines, daily dressing and grooming of the client as well as keeping surroundings hygienic,maintaining a pleasant atmosphere and companionship.
