I have experience caring for people of different abilities from quadriplegic, paraplegic to down syndrome. Experience with medication administration, personal care - ADL’s ,pivot and transfers, bathing, dressing, cooking, cleaning, pet care, paying bill and general household administration and companionship. I used to take my client swimming which involved carrying out of wheel chair and into pool, and out of pool and into hot tub, etc. Take them to play raquet ball or for walks in the woods, I am strong, fun and believe there is always a way to have some fun no matter the limitations. I love the hands on care, getting to know my clients and in the past have become good friends. I am patient and quiet. Cheerful, with a good sense of humor and high stress tolerance. I have lived mainly in Mexico for the last 15 years, worked as a massage therapist and did a lot of traveling. After that I became a caregiver in Wisconsin, and currently I reside in Vermont where I farmand practice massage therapy. In the winter months there is not much work, so I look for work between October and April.
