We are a warm and friendly Italian family based in Lugano, Switzerland. We can speak English, Italian and French.
We have 2 boys aged 8 and 10. They get along, they are very lively but extremely sweet kids.
It is important to us to consider our Nanny as a family member rather than strictly an employee, but at the same time we think that privacy is very important for everyone.
We had an Italian Au pair in 2015, an American Au pair in 2018 and a British nanny from 2019 on (she has just ended her contract for personal reasons). We deeply loved them and we often get in touch with them.

Dear candidate, we are looking for an ENGLISH NATIVE speaker Nanny with a EUROPEAN UNION PASSPORT or VISA that could also tutor our sons (writing and reading in English)
We can negotiate the amount of working hours and the salary, considering the candidate's needs, age, tasks and previous experiences.
We need help with both the kids in the afternoon/evening to play with them, help us preparing dinner, help our boys to tidy up their toys and get ready for bedtime. ( 9/9:30 p.m.)
Our Nanny would be free everyday in the morning and early afternoon.
Since for the main housekeeping job we already have a cleaning lady, we just ask the candidate to cooperate keeping the house in order. Nevertheless, if the candidate desires to work more hours, he/she can decide to help with the housekeeping too.

-In Switzerland it is possible to learn and practice three official languages: German, French and Italian.

-Lugano is a safe and lovely town on the lake, surrounded by nature and it is a perfect base to visit Switzerland and ITALY : Zurich is 2 hours far by train. MILAN is just 1 hour far, and COMO is 30 minutes far.


For NON-EUROPEAN UNION citizens it is very difficult, long and expensive to obtain a SWISS working VISA.
