We are a Filipino family of 4 based in Singapore. Myself and my husband has work or business to attend to during day time. My son is 17 and my daughter is 14; both are homeschooled. Besides us, we have a wonderful helper living with us for 4 years now.

We live near a national park and often go for walks. We explore Singapore as much as possible by going for a day-trip whenever we can during public holidays.
We enjoy home-cook food and watching movies. Every now and then, we go out for dinner or meet friends.
We sometimes go abroad to travel and spend Christmas in the Philippines.

We are looking for a home-based teacher/tutor/nanny for our 14-yo daughter who has autism.
The main responsibilities of the job is to engage my child through productive activities that will help develop her communication, social-relationship and self-help skills.
The role is going to follow a strategy called Son-Rise Program.

Following are expected from the home-based teacher.
- Engage with my daughter thru arts, music, dance, reading, and outdoor activities.
- Teach self-help skills, communication and socializing with other people
- Come up with daily activities
- Read up on autism materials and Son-Rise Program
- Help in developing individualized development plan
- Research on different areas relevant to autism

In addition, the role is also needed to help in light household chores like cleaning common areas and my daughter's room. There may also be a need to cook light meals for my daughter when the need arises.
