Job Title: Part-time Nanny
Location: Near Hilversum, Netherlands
Start Date: End of December (3-month contract with potential for extension)
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday
Salary: €20-€25 per hour, depending on experience
The family is seeking a versatile and experienced Nanny to assist with childcare and light housekeeping. The role involves supporting two boys (ages 1-3 years) who attend daycare Monday through Thursday, as well as managing household tasks to ensure a smooth-running home. The ideal candidate will be proactive, nurturing, and reliable, with strong organisational skills and the ability to balance childcare and light housekeeping responsibilities effectively. Candidates must live locally or within a commutable distance and
speak Dutch fluently.
Responsibilities
Provide support during morning (6:30-8:30) and evening (16:30-18:30) routines, including preparing the children for daycare and helping with their evening needs.
Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean, tidy, and organised home.
Handle children’s laundry, including washing, folding, and organising.
Prepare nutritious meals and snacks for the children as required.
Communicate effectively with the parents about daily activities, schedules, and updates.
Ideal candidate
Proven experience as a nanny and/or housekeeper, ideally with children in the specified age range.
Strong organisational skills to balance childcare and light housekeeping responsibilities.
Fluency in Dutch and excellent communication skills.
First Aid certification.
A positive, proactive attitude with the ability to adapt to the family’s needs.
Flexibility to start at the end of December or the beginning of January and commit to the duration of the assignment.
Residing locally or within a commutable distance of Hilversum.
