**Job Overview:**
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and flexible Live-In Nanny/Au Pair to join our family. The right person will help care for our older son and assist with our newborn baby. We need someone who is caring, organized, and can easily adjust to different needs each day. This job is great for someone who enjoys creating a positive and organized environment for children while giving them loving care.
**Job Duties:**
- **Morning Routine:** Help our son get ready for school in the morning, including dressing him and making sure he’s prepared for the day.
- **Newborn Care:** While we take our older son to school, you will take care of the newborn baby, including:
- Feeding with bottles
- Changing diapers
- Helping the baby nap
- **After School & Evening Routine:** When our son comes home from school, you will assist with:
- Making dinner
- Bath time
- Bedtime routine
- **Daytime Support for Newborn:** When our son is at school, you will care for the newborn baby as needed. Some hours during the day will be free for you to relax or do personal things.
- **Flexible Support:** Be ready to help with other tasks that may come up, as our family’s needs can change.
- **Light Housekeeping:**
- Clean baby bottles
- Help with the kids’ dishes
- Tidy up the playroom and shared areas
- Wash children’s clothes and bedding
**Pay and Benefits:**
- **Live-In Arrangement:** You will have your own private bedroom and share a bathroom with our son.
- **Meals & Groceries:** We will provide all food and you can eat with us.
- **Toiletries:** We will provide toiletries. Let us know if you need anything specific.
- **Time Off:** You will have one day off each week, usually Sundays, but we can discuss another day if you prefer.
- **Pay:** You will be paid in Canadian dollars, either every two weeks or monthly. We will agree on a fair arrangement.
- **Travel:** We will book your flights to and from your home. The job will start around March 23 and end around August 31, 2025, depending on flight availability.
- **Location:** We live in Markham, Ontario, close to a bus stop and GO station, so you can easily use public transportation.
