Our child is very sweet (when he is not hungry!) He loves to count, write, play around with musical instruments and loves to be read to and to go out to the nearby playground. He eats and sleeps well and takes a long nap every afternoon.
We are looking for a nanny because we are healthcare professionals and both work over 40 hours a week. We need someone to help with his care in the evenings and mornings. Our child will soon be attending school 830-1230 five days a week.
Duties for the nanny: 40-50 hours of work per week, mostly routine childcare including feeding, bathing. We could arrange the schedule so it is convenient to both of us. We both leave early for work so hopefully you are an early riser!
Other duties include light cooking and cleaning and generally being a second pair of hands as needed.
We are looking for someone who will engage our child—talk or sing to him, read or tell him stories, show him pictures, play music.
Benefits include a base pay of $400/week. Other benefits include room and board in a clean, modern home in a very nice neighborhood in the Washington, DC suburbs, and use of an automobile and a cell phone. There is a private bathroom in your room. You are welcome to come and go as you please when you are not working. You are also welcome to consume food and beverage as any other member of the family.
