My name is Nekane and I’m an Early Childhood Educational Specialist from Spain.
I have an extensive background in teaching and caring for children of all ages in school and home settings. I am confident that my work experience, coupled with my responsible, warm, and caring personality, will make me an excellent addition to your family.
Plus ten years experience in the childcare industry and self learning of alternative educational methodologies (Montessori, Reggio Emilia and Pikler).
Besides, being a professional nanny in Spain, I worked as well in different countries (Ireland, England, Finland and Australia) for a families with different backgrounds living in, so this gave me the opportunity to learn about different cultures, parenting styles and makes me become a resilient and highly adaptable person.
The nanny roles were full time, sole charge including children from infancy (newborn) through age 6. Always understanding the needs of each family, as well as the education, upbringing and environment of the children.
In addition, I worked as a kindergarten teacher as well. I completed three internships in different schools - UK, Finland and Spain - which gave me the opportunity to learn about different education systems, including children from 0 through age 6.
The kindergarten in the UK was a Montessori approach and the one in Finland was a Reggio Emilia approach.
