Hello everyone.
My name is Mariche , I am a twenty four year old woman living in the Western Cape of South Africa.
I have been homeschooled for most of my life, due to family obligations I unfortunately could not have finished my matriculation at the proper age of eighteen as is the norm of society today. I will however conclude my matriculation exam within the next year or two and then focus on furthering my education. As of right now I am unsure if I will further my education by studying to become a teacher, a physical therapist or pastries chef.
I have quite a lot of experience working with children of all ages (from newborn babies to teenagers). As a teenager I helped out at a daycare for a few days, then later as a night time babysitter to a 7 year old for a friend of my father's for a few months, early 2022 I volunteered at a non-profit organization whom specializes in taking care of children waiting on adoption and since September 2022 I have been working at a indoor Play park for kids (I started working there as a Fun Marshall, later on as a Receptionist and since January 2023 I have been the Events Supervisor).
I really adore children and go out of my way to make them happy, while at the same time imprinting good values and manners onto them that they will hopefully attain forever. I'm very creative and crafty, so your child/children will never be bored as I will always find something to keep them busy with while exercising their problem solving capabilities and creativity by making them find solutions and answers to fun obstacles and trickster/riddle questions.
I'd describe myself as being shy and quiet around strangers, but fun and energetic around my family and friends.
Things I like too spend my time on...
Drinking tea.
Reading books (I like many genre's but books involving mystery and adventure are my favorite).
Writing (I've started writing quite a few books, written a few short poems and even started writing songs, I hope to one day finish my books and publish them, my poems and songs are personal so I'm unsure at the moment if I will ever publish them).
Watching animated/cartoon movies and tv series (I like sweet and innocent things, so I prefer movie directed towards children than movies that are directed towards my own generation in age).
Historical dramas/musicals (based on true events and fiction, also westernized movies and none westernized movies like Chinese drama, Korean drama, Japanese drama and so forth).
Listening to music (I love discovering new and unheard of artist's music).
Building/solving puzzles sudokus and other brain teasing riddles.
Learning new languages (at this moment I'm trying to learn Japanese and French).
Learning about other Countries and their cultures.
Learning about how ordinary objects we use daily are made.
Cooking and baking for my family.
Doing all sorts of crafts (I like being able to create something beautiful out of absolutely nothing).
Designing clothes and sewing them.
Crocheting (clothes, jewelry, dolls).
Photography and editing (I like taking pictures, but I don't exactly like it when someone takes pictures of me).
Animation (despite not being able to draw to save my life I still enjoy trying to make my own animations, I'd like to one day turn one of the books that I'm writing into an animated series).
Going to the beach, hiking or any other outdoors activity.
Dancing and singing (even though I'm terrible with both).
I have very sober habits, I eat and live healthy, I do have a very sweet tooth but try hard to keep it in check.
