My name is Manilyn ., 35 years old. I am a Filipino citizen, previously working in canada for almost two years as a senior caregiver. previously working as a senior caregiver in cyprus for 3 years, I've also work in Hongkong as a nanny for 1 year and 4 months, from June 8, 2011 to October 27, 2012. I am the eldest in the family and I have one brother. I have a one teenaged daughter. I am 2 years in nursing undergraduated also a trained as a health care aid with certificate of completion. I am honest, kind, and patience in my role and responsible. My duties as a nanny was assisting children with bathing and dressing, provide home schooling to second grade child, control playtime and maintain diary of activities, responsible for preparing and feeding meals to children and work with all personality type and understand requirements of various special needs children such as those with learning disabilities, mentally challenged and physically impaired. Being a nanny is also a way for me to gain experience to be more qualified for the job am applying.
Being an overseas worker, I learned to interact with different people and learn their cultures, foods, and had the chance to go to different places. Although, I like to cook different cuisine that I learnt from my previous experiences, I am still looking forward to learn more.
Being away from my daughter is not easy but by taking care of other children helps me ease of my longing for her. I enjoy being around with children because they are so fun to be around and for me they are the most honest person.
