Hi, My name is Michelle. I am a 36-year-old Canadian woman. I moved to Amsterdam in 2012 and I was a nanny for a Dutch family with 3 small children. The ages at the beginning of my employment were 9 months, 4 & 6 years. I worked for this family for 3.5 years, until the baby was going to school. Through this, I also worked for several of the family's friends on nights and weekends.
I then was working for an international family with 2 girls, aged 7 months and 6 years. The 6-year-old girl did not speak English at all when I first started and is now bilingual.
Most recently, I was in Thailand teaching English to a class of 14 children, aged 5 - 8 years. I was in this position for 8 months and was responsible for all the learning prep, ideas and structure of the class.
I can provide references from several families. I enjoy spending time with children of all ages, I am creative and energetic and enjoy arranging crafts, baking, or playing outside in nature.
I am mature, trustworthy and organized. My hours are flexible. I am first aid certified and can provide my certificate for this. I would ideally be looking for full time hours, live out.
