My name is Romina, and I am from Guadalajara, Mexico. I am looking for a warm and respectful host family where I can become part of daily family life, help with the children, and enjoy a meaningful cultural exchange.
I can start around June or July 2026. Spanish is my native language, and I also speak English. I studied in a bilingual school, so I feel comfortable using English in daily life. I would love to help your children practice English or Spanish in a natural way through conversation, games, stories, songs, creative activities and daily routines.
I have experience caring for children of different ages. I have cared for my niece many times since she was a newborn until now. I also temporarily cared for a 1-year-old child at night and worked as a nanny for two weeks for a 3-year-old boy and a 1-year-old girl. These experiences helped me become more patient, responsible and attentive with children.
I really enjoy spending time with kids. I like reading stories, doing arts and crafts, drawing, helping with simple learning activities, playing outside, and creating a safe and caring environment. I believe children learn best when they feel loved, supported and encouraged.
I am a creative person. I love crafts, baking desserts, decorating for parties, makeup, fashion, shopping, reading, watching movies, series and documentaries, and learning new things. I also enjoy working on school projects and being organized.
For me, becoming an au pair is an important step before going to university. I want to live an experience that helps me grow, become more independent, learn about another culture, practice my English in real life, and hopefully learn a new language.
I would like to become not only a helper in your home, but also someone your children can trust, enjoy and feel comfortable with. I am responsible, kind, patient, open-minded and excited to share my Mexican culture with your family.
