Available over Xmas and New Year. Also prepared to travel and live in over the holiday season and at other times.
I have worked with adults and children with additional needs for the past fifteen years now. I currently work for Co Action the West Cork special needs organisation. With adults with different disabilities. I have also a lot of experience of working privately with children and adults in their family homes including a child with autism and challenging behaviour.
I also have experience of working intensively with a young child with severe epilepsy and am trained in first aid for epilepsy as well as paediatric first aid.
I also have a diploma in Health and Social Care which included a specialised unit in Autistic Spectrum Condition. Through my work I have attended various trainings for additional needs including the use of Pec's, makaton, sensory integration, play therapy, moving and handling and peg feeding.
I'm also a yoga teacher and a special needs yoga therapist so I'd be interested in working with a family who's interested in and open to the benefits of yoga.
I'm also very creative. I like drawing, painting, music, travelling and going to the gym.
