My name is Louise, I'm a 36 years old french nanny ( NOT AN AUPAIR). I've been living and working as a nanny in France, Belgium, London and the Netherlands for quite a few years and I'm now moving back to Amsterdam in August 2022.

For the last 8 years I've been working as nanny and language tutor in France, Belgium, the UK and the Netherlands with many great families, a lot of nationalities and children ranging from newborns to teenagers.
In the last 4 years I have specialised in babies and toddlers ( potty training, sleep training, introduction of solid food, motor and language skills, etc).
I also have experience with twins.
I am passionate about pedagogy, always reading and learning about new ways to help children be happy and develop their full potential, I'm inspired by Montessori and Steiner waldorf approaches. Always led by the family, their parenting style and goals I will use different tools such as positive discipline, baby sign language, baby led weaning, attachment parenting ...
I am also very interested in nutrition in early years, and can cook healthy meals from 6 months old and up.
I'm a calm, mature and trustworthy person, I value punctuality and respect every family values and guidelines.
I love arts, culture and literature : I'm a graduated student in graphic arts and enjoy painting and photography in my free time.
I love sharing this artistic side with kids by painting and crafting, developing creativity and imagination, making up bed time stories and songs with them.
Beside arts, I'm an outdoorsy person, i love taking the kids outside everyday to play and show them everything nature give us to watch and experiment!
Living in the city, I also love to bring the children to visit museums, exhibitions, historical places and libraries.
I'm a vegetarian/pescatarian and a good cook (I've no problem cooking meat), I enjoy making healthy snacks and meals for the children.
I speak both French (native) and English (fluent) and I understand basic Dutch. I'm willing to teach or tutor languages, I'm used to help with school work from kindergarden to high school and I've been tutoring homeschooled children before.
I have recommendations from families I worked with, first aid diploma ( renewed in may 2022) , Red Cross water safety diploma (2022) and (french) DBS check.
I'm looking for a long term, ideally full time nanny position ideally in Amsterdam but I would consider temporary/holiday nanny jobs in Europe.
Starting August 2022 my residence will be in AMSTERDAM and I’m therefore looking to work in the Amsterdam area.
For temp positions I’m available to work in European capitals such as: London, Paris, Brussels, Geneva and would consider other major cities with international airport (flying back to the Netherlands on week ends or similar arrangement).
Note: I am not looking for an au pair position.
