Hello! My name is Maya and I am currently seeking the opportunity to help a family through Au pair! For the past 6 months, I have been studying Spanish but I am looking to experience more of Europe and the many cultures. Currently I am a 3rd year college student who is hoping to study in Germany in the fall term and need an opportunity until then. I would like to be an Au pair as I have worked with children for the past 5 years and gained immense fulfillment from doing so. Throughout my experience with children I have retained valuable skills. Such as experience teaching, speaking a fair amount of Spanish and helping children with learning disabilities. My passion for child care came about when my little sister was born 7 years ago. When it became necessary for me to support my family, who was not able to find accommodations within the competitive daycare system in America. This helped me gain insight on the needs of a child through simple skills like cooking, cleaning and being able to meet a child's needs. I later went on to work through various child care positions.
