My name is Patricia, I am a senior at a College in Birmingham Alabama and I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in child education. I have been nannying and babysitting for ten years. I have experience with newborns as young as four days old up to teenagers. I spent January-May of 2021 as a live-in nanny for a 15 year old in Palm Beach, FL and I am frequently a live-in nanny for families in my hometown. I have a valid driver's license and passport as well as being a very experienced traveler. I am familiar with basic ASL and have worked with a wide range of children with disabilities. I am able to understand conversational French and basic Spanish. I am comfortable with children with autism, down syndrome, and deaf children. I am also able to provide phenomenal references. I pride myself on my time management skills, patience, and personal/social skills. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active as well as hiking, and spending time with friends. Throughout my typical school week, I work part-time at a retail store, I nanny three times a week, as well as being a full-time student. Throughout high school, I was very involved as a student and was the president of a club I cofounded for two years called Future Community and Career Leaders of America. I have spent 6 consecutive summers nannying for a local family every day. I have held a GPA of 3.3 in my three years in college. I am in a sorority and over the past year, I have had the pleasure of being house manager. This position required me to handle large sums of money as well as planning months in advance and boosting my skills in time management. I am petite in stature but that does not represent my bold energy and loud personality.
