The Ambassador role is an outbound sales position that is an extension of GreatAuPair's excellent sales and marketing process. This is a commission-based, work-from-home, independent contractor position. Ambassadors set their own hours to identify and engage prospective new host family customers and are therefore an important outward facing representation of GreatAuPair. The Ambassador is responsible for independently sourcing new leads by networking with families, schools and businesses through direct contact and social media. As an Ambassador, you will host and engage in family and child-centric events, and initiate independent marketing activities to expand your reach. A successful Ambassador will understand the customers' needs and be able to help host families quickly decide if the au pair program is a good fit. This will require you to have a thorough understanding of GreatAuPair's Au Pair Program, host family participation requirements, and Department of State compliance requirements. You will pass interested customers to GreatAuPair's professional Program Advisors who will further educate your customers about the Au Pair Program and assist them through the au pair matching process.

The Role

The Program Advisor role is an essential part of GreatAuPair’s excellent customer service. The Program Advisor serves as the first point of contact for new customers and is therefore the most important outward facing representation of GreatAuPair. The Program Advisor is responsible for making outbound calls to families and answering incoming phone calls and emails, to understand the customers’ needs and to represent the value of the GreatAuPair J-1 Au Pair Program. Your goals will be to help host families complete their application with ease and confidence, then support them to find the best au pair match from our pool of qualified au pair candidates.

The successful candidate could be characterized as a confident, quick learner with superior communication skills and a commitment to quality customer service that is second to none. You are a smart professional who is capable of helping host families understand the value and benefits of the au pair program. You have superior organization and time management skills that help you to juggle competing priorities and customer needs. Your entrepreneurial spirit creates a “can-do” attitude and your ability to think outside of the box will allow you to bring forward new ideas to enhance your department. You have a minimum of 4 years of similar experience, a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Google docs, database systems; Internet and social media tools.

The Program Advisor reports to the Host Family Services Manager in the Sales and Marketing department and is responsible for converting leads into customers to meet monthly sales goals for host family recruitment.

The Role

The Host Family Services Manager role is a leadership role directly responsible for the customer experience and the financial success of the company. Since the Host Family Services Manager handles escalated service issues related to contracts and payments, this position requires a high level of professional polish, excellent conflict resolution skills and a solid understanding of the au pair program regulations.

As a leader, the ideal candidate would be able to work with team members to identify areas of opportunity and to develop processes and solutions incorporating feedback from direct reports to establish a highly functional and cohesive team. You must have the proven ability to coach in a manner that addresses different learning styles and skill sets in addition to identifying and capitalizing on individual key strengths. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, be analytical, and apply those skills to set realistic goals and ensure accountability of all team members to ensure the continued success of the Host Family Services team. The Host Family Services Manager is to provide exceptional service to both internal and external customers, which includes presenting weekly departmental status reports to senior management.

The ideal candidate has superior time management skills and is extremely detail oriented. This position ensures Department of State compliance on the part of the host family and is responsible for continuous auditing of files. Additionally, a minimum of 4 years of similar experience, a solid knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, CRM, Google docs, database systems, Internet and social media tools is required.

GreatAuPair is a full-service au pair agency that provides affordable live-in childcare to American families through carefully screened international au pairs. The US Department of State has designated GreatAuPair as a sponsor of the Au Pair Program, which means we’re able to bring au pairs into the US on a J-1 visa after thorough screening and evaluation.

We are seeking open-minded GreatAuPair Representatives with an appreciation for cultural exchange and a passion for excellence. Ideal candidates will be excellent communicators in English and the local languages spoken in their region. Candidates must be able to recognize and assess personal traits, qualities and key factors as needed to evaluate au pairs for quality childcare.

As a GreatAuPair Representative, you will be working closely with applicant au pairs to conduct an in-person interview in order to assess their maturity, experience and suitability to work as an au pair in the USA. You will also evaluate their English language skills, verify their references and other information as needed. Once the au pair is accepted into the program, you will maintain regular contact to assist her in preparing for her departure and obtaining her J-1 visa.

International Responsibility - Flexible, Work-From-Home Opportunity!

The Au Pair Services Manager is responsible for defining, implementing and directing international strategies for au pair recruitment through partners and international representatives.

The Au Pair Services Manager must ensure the recruitment of high-quality au pairs, which requires frequent discussions with our GreatAuPair China office as well as our partners and international reps across the globe. Fluent English and Mandarin are required. Fluency in additional languages is a plus.

This is a leadership and management position requiring a diplomatic, take charge attitude. You will lead the Au Pair Services team to ensure the department’s objectives and KPIs are met each month. This requires experience in setting goals, defining strategies and implementing tactics. You must be able to identify issues and resolve challenges proactively.

This is a work-from-home, roll-up-your-sleeves, international leadership opportunity with all aspects of the position being managed virtually. Due to the many time zones you’ll cover, hours will vary, with some late night and early morning calls. This position reports to the Vice President of Program Operations.
