Managing a single-family home, mostly during daytime weekdays but sometimes also on weekends and nights. Cooking, grocery shopping, cleaning, laundry for a family of 2 grown ups and Three Children. Also assist with picking up and getting kids to school/daycare.
About us:
We are a sporty family who love the outdoors all seasons. Since last autumn we live just outside of Luleå in northern part of Sweden. Wintertime Northern Lights can be watched in the sky.
We have three boys that will be six, eight and ten years old this autumn. The older boys among other things like wall climbing, biking, swimming, hikes in the nature and of course both cross country skiing and slalom. The smallest one is a happy "chap", learning quickly after his brothers - managing most of the daily stuff. Mum is working as a doctor at the local hospital which includes evening and weekend shifts. Dad works periodically abroad in different projects with usual duration of two to three months but sometimes also shorter. Therefore we are looking for a housekeeper so the boys’ days won’t be too long in the weeks and so that there is energy left to do fun things together.
We have had earlier au pairs living with us and it has worked very well. The boys are bilingual since dad comes from Finland and mum from Sweden and we speak both languages at home every day. We also speak English quite often and the elder boys can communicate using English, which is great. It would be brilliant if they learn more English in an early age. We also love travelling and both mum and dad have been working abroad several times in different parts of the world. We want to encourage our boys exploring both near and far and encourage their curiosity for new things.
