I am korean/american. Some of my personalities: genuine. sincere. honest. laid-back/easy going. naturally optimistic (I never let problems or fustrations get me down for too long or if at all). Humor is one way I deal with life's troubles.. and the other is more philosophical. Overall, I really try to be positive and see possible good/growth in every situation/emotion/person. I'm loving/affectionate. sociable - I love meeting new people.. having new experiences... but I like to keep a good balance of still having my own personal space as well. I'm adventurous/spontaneous - which includes a love for traveling. I am organized. I like eating healthy because it agrees with me so well. I'm athletic - I love to work out, run, hockey and play rugby ! I have other interests such as music, arts - writing, sketching, painting. I've been on my own since I was 18 so being independent is not an issue with me.
Childcare style : I believe in consistency with disciplining. I'm very realistic and age appropriote with every thing in general. I've come to realization that age and wisdom rarely go hand in hand and to never underestimate the mind of even a 2yr old. I truly believe in being a walking interpretation of the things I believe in and as a caretaker I acknowledge the fact that I am an example of love... therefore I'm very careful with the way I choose to handle a situation or speak with a child. I try to care/speak through love and compassion always, yet keeping that balance with discplining all at the same time. I'm very active with children. I like to keep them occupied through games/crafts/outdoor activities/any thing else that is mind stimulating or educational because things are always a little less chaotic when you are occupied.

I've had previous experience with full-time nanny, part-time nanny, daycare center aide/preschool teacher, and babysitter. I have a lot of experience with newborns,toddlers, school-aged children, special needs child, twins/triplets. I have a driver's license and plenty of driving experience . I am capable of doing housekeeping/light housekeeping/cook for children and/or family dinners/ laundry for the children / grocery shopping/running errands/ tidy up kitchen and any thing else that needs maintaining neatness. I am a non-smoker, healthy, and inshape! I'm a very good swimmer for those w/a pool or make regular trips to the ocean! I have musical abilities, experience with teaching/tutoring children, I'm very artistic, computer literate, and able to cook!
