Hello we are the family! We are an American family from Michigan, USA. We have three sons ages 7, 9,and 1 and a beautiful little girl age 5. We also have 4 cats. We live in a small village near Ramstein nestled in the rolling hills and farm country of Germany.
About Our Family:
* Our eldest son, 12, is on the autism spectrum (high functioning) and has a keen interest in engineering, design, trains, LEGOs, fish, and art.
* Our 9-year-old son is passionate about video games, anime, zoology, marine biology, and aspires to become a soldier.
* Our 5-year-old daughter adores all things glitter, dresses, princesses, and has a fascination with dinosaurs.
* Our 1-year-old baby is full of energy and curiosity.
Our Family Dynamic:
* Mom homeschools the 5 and 12-year-olds while working from home
* Dad works in the data and intelligence field.
* Mom is a professional artist and writer, planning to return to college for a degree in the digital arts.
* We are full-time expats with plans to relocate to Portugal or Southeast Asia within the next 3-5 years.
* As a family, we cherish outdoor walks, adventures, video games, and share a passion for all things nerdy.

Our family believes that there is a recipe to creating a happy home: that includes love, self responsibility, creativity, and freedom. We are constantly striving to improve our home life as parents, partners, and as individuals. Though the recent diagnosis has thrown our family into some challenges we are rising to meet them.
We enjoy hiking, geo caching, gaming, eating out, traveling, and creating together. We desperately need an extra set of hands so that we can accommodate all three of our children’s needs, and passions so we can all continue to grow together and foster deep and healthy connections with each other.

Your Role:
As a dedicated nanny, you'll play a pivotal role in our family's life, stepping in when we're occupied with one child and ensuring that no child ever feels left out. Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting our eldest with his schoolwork.
* Engaging in creative activities like reading and art projects.
* Playing video games and redirecting them to quieter tasks when needed.
* Going on outdoor adventures to the park or for walks.
* Acting as an extra set of hands during family activities and outings.
* Providing support for mom during her personal time for activities like working out, showering, studying, painting, and writing.
* Encouraging our children to stay on task with chores.
* Light housework, including tidying up after meals and child-related messes.
* Occasionally staying home with the children during appointments.
* Helping with lunches and, occasionally, dinners on date nights.
* Supervising school assignments when mom is focused on our youngest.
* Assisting with diaper changes when needed.
Please note that mom is very dedicated and involved with her children and mostly is looking for that second set of hands to be around and help out meaning a lot of the time it will be a joint effort and the workload will not be overwhelming or heavy.
