Dear host family,
My name is Christine Nopia . I'm 31 years old. They love to tag me Chloe, King and White aka my nicknames. I took up Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biology. I have 5 siblings only;
I can speak English fluently and also learning basic Korean expressions but not honestly well. I’m currently working as an ESL instructor (English as a Secondary Language.) I’m teaching Koreans, Japanese, Chinese and Mongolians. Most of my students are respectably from POSCO Korea, a South Korean steel-making company headquartered in Pohang, South Korea. The rest of my students are only part of my adventurous circle outside my formal job. I’m super excited to meet the family and share to them my experiences as well as to serve them in full service. Being the eldest in the family made me bold enough to create avenues to develop myself better and grow independently. I love meeting new people, experimenting new things, learning new skills and pushing myself to the grandest. During my free time, I love engaging myself in some exciting activities outdoors. My hobbies are playing the guitar, hiking, playing active sports, cooking, decorating stuff, reading books and gardening. Walking with my dogs is my favorite time. After my busy life outside, I encourage myself to reactivate my mood of quietness listening to good music alone or sometimes coffee date together with unending conversation with my loved ones.
As part of my application, I am confidently willing to perform my best in doing some housework, assist the kids in everything and excited to see them grow as a better individual during my stay. If I would have a chance, I will continue to serve the family as long as they want me to stay. I’m not into creating my future plans because I know the present moment is the best time to live and to see clearly what lies in the future. I decided to apply as an AU Pair because I believe I can do it. I believe investing my service to this family will be a pathway for me to accomplish my dreams and part of my purpose in such a creative ways through knowing them as part of myself and my second family abroad. My personal motives are to assist my family, become better in this job, perform great in all my duties, create a great impact to my host family and share with them a memorable journey together. I chose those countries, most especially Korea because I love these people. I was amazed by their culture, their educational system, there honoring character and respect to their leaders and their faithfulness to God.
