I am responsible, accountable, detail-oriented, organized, independent and I have a high level of integrity. I am a happily married wife and mother for 22 years. I have two daughters 21 and 19 and a son of 14. My elder daughter attends the University of the West Indies and my second daughter will be joining her in September. My son attends a traditional high school.
I have been mother, tutor, confidant, friend and guide to my children. I reared them independent of household help even though I am employed as a primary school teacher. The years were not easy but I am proud of my accomplishments and my children's achievements. On many occasions I have been commended on my children's deportment and display of good etiquette. I love them equally and persons have commented on how closely knitted we are.
My experience as mother and certified teacher/tutor make me an excellent choice for the role of an Au pair. I am able to expertly cater to your child's/children's physical, social, educational needs. For instance I am able to alleviate boredom with pre-planned, well organized activities or even impromptu ones which will be both fun and educational. Your child/children will not be just having fun but learning too.
I am physically active and my main hobbies are gardening, hiking, art and craft interior decorating and drama. I enjoy the outdoors, taking care of plants, animals, children and the elderly. I believe in healthy living so exercise and balanced meals are very important to me.
I grew up in a Christian household and I began studying the Bible and dedicated my life to God when I was 12. I attend weekly Bible meetings, where I continue to learn Christ-like principles and qualities and how to apply them in every day life. This has made me the best wife, mother and employee that I could possibly be.
