Hello!
As you may already know, I have zero paid experience taking care of children, but having grown up in a very close-knit family, I have over a decade of unpaid experience. I cannot say those years were lost because I sure learned a lot, and I was given the opportunity to spend time and mature with my cousins and nephews.
I have been living in Bahrain since 2018, worked in hospitality in the Kingdom until 2022. I took a year off of work after getting married in order to focus on building a family to no avail, but it will be granted eventually. ? I am currently on Flexi visa (good until Sept 2024), don't have my own car but my Bahraini license is still valid until 2028.
I am a native Tagalog speaker, can understand very little Arabic, and speak English fluently.
My interests include playing Final Fantasy (10 is my favorite!), animal care, and singing. I sing a lot, but I am not the stereotypical Filipino who will belt it out if given an opportunity because my larynx and diaphragm are just not made for that! I sing soft tunes, a lot of Disney, and I try to get into some smooth jazz.
I can be funny, too! My husband tells me I'm witty.
My youth sort of revolved around dogs. At one point, we had 18 dogs all at once! Now we have 2 dogs who are now in San Diego, California. They were transported from Bahrain. They're honestly the best companions I could ever ask for – kept me company in CA when my husband deployed! They are my babies, and I miss them a lot! I wouldn't mind having to pet sit, too. I would very much love to do that. I love animals! A lot of cats hate me, though, and I never understood why. But if you have an animal at home, I will definitely want to hug it.
So, dear family, I have said a lot already, and this is actually kind of how I am in person. I can be talkative once comfortable, but I also respect boundaries. :)
