Hi, my name is Gabriela.
My family is mixed with French, Philipino, Polish, Arab, Italian, and Jamaican. Those are the cultures that have married into our family. I love people.
I am a college student in Ohio, and wish to explore other countries for the summer, or travel within the US. :) However, I'm happy to stay in Ohio, too. I have lived in Fairview Park, Maple Heights, Berea, and Cleveland's West side.

I am experienced with newborns and infants; elder-care; and can handle pets.
I was a teacher's assistant for CMSD for 1 year and I worked with prek through 12th. I also helped with children with special needs, including epilepsy and autism. I worked in a daycare briefly in Lakewood, Ohio, and also for the Cleveland Department of aging.
I would like to use my experience with children, the elderly, and pets as a way to meet a nice family and participate with daily activities and hopefully have a chance to experience another culture, language, and country, but staying in the US is okay, too.
A little more about me:
I have studied opera for a while and understand a little Italian. I speak Spanish and English and enjoy learning about other cultures. I grew up in the suburbs of northeast Ohio and was privileged to travel to Canada, parts of the US, and Mexico. I also have been to Jamaica where I was enamored with the beautiful nature of Fern Gully. I have attended Cleveland State University, Baldwin Wallace University, and had the pleasure of being an intern for Dr. Joe Fagan at Case Western Reserve University. I love people and would be happy to work for your home.
