Dear Au Pair,
We would love to meet and welcome a new friend to join our family in our cosy Swiss village to help us look after our two little children.
We are both fairly relaxed, and enjoy getting to know new people. I am South African, originally, but have lived all over the world. I have lived in the UK for about 15 years. My husband (Michael) is originally from Canada, but has also lived in a lot of countries. We live in a nice house, with easy access to cities in the area.
We hope to invite you to come experience Switzerland, get to know our family and collect happy memories to take with you on your travels.
We live in a house that we are in the process of renovating. It is situated in the middle of a beautiful village, roughly in between lac Leman and lac Neuchatel. There is a nearby bus and train that goes frequently to connect you to bigger cities in the region (Lausanne, Geneva, Yverdon, Montreux). But living here is very peaceful, and has exquisite walks.
You will have your own room, with a desk, with access to a patio, and enclosed garden. We believe it's important to give our au pair's enough private space, where they can switch off, and where they can call home-- but equally, we have very much enjoyed having our au pairs be part of the family to eat with us, and enjoy time spent in our communal space.
My husband will be working remotely from home, and therefore would be available, and I work shift work, so will also be around half the week. We don't have any pets (but love animals).
We have a cosy and happy existence, and hope to find an independent caring person, who likes to fill their days and share their interests. Please get in touch if you are interested. Applicants will need to have the right to stay and work in Switzerland.

We are a a little family who recently moved from the UK to Swizterland, our current au pair will be leaving us at the end of the Summer and we are looking for someone who will help to look after our 3 year old daughter, and little boy who will be about 8 months old.
I work part time (3 days a week) and my husband works from home. I am a children's doctor (a paediatrician) and my husband is a Scientist. We will live a few minutes walk from my brother's family who also will have an au pair living with them, which hopefully will mean a friend in the neighbourhood. We will comply with the ordinary Au Pair contract. The working days and hours may be flexible, and we can find what works between us.
We may ask you to do some light housework: cooking, cleaning etc.
We hope with this flexible schedule, it will allow you to see the sights, do some traveling and enjoy everything this city/UK/Europe has to offer.
You will have your own room on your own floor of the house and all the usual amenities.
