We are a nice and friendly Swiss family with a beautiful house with a garden and a very nice view over the lake of Zug and the Mount Rigi. We live in the central part of Switzerland in a village called Walchwil, very close to the city of Zug and around 40 min from the cities of Zurich and Lucerne with very good public transportation connections.
We speak german as our mother tongue and as well english and french.
In the summertime we love to go swimming in the lake or be on our boat doing wakeboarding and surfing. In winter we often go to a village in the mountains where we have a mountain house and do some skiing and snowboarding.
We both work as pilots but both of us work on a part-time basis.
We are looking for an au pair for our two girls (8, 11) and our big dog (Swiss Shepard). The dog is well behaved and trained. He is still young and full of energy and loves to go on walks. He weights around 35kg and is lovely with the girls and the whole family.
The girls visit the school in our village.
They are both very active, love to play with their friends and doing their hobbies.

Do you love to be with children, to play with them, look for them, to do excursions with them, bring them to school, go swimming with them, do their homework with them and bring them to bed?
Do you love and know how to handle a big dog (Swiss Shepard)?
Are you a very reliable and active person who is full of energy and willing to take the responsibility for our two girls (8 years & 11 years) and our dog during we are working?
Do you have patience and are you flexible and do not mind doing some regular housework, laundry and cooking?
Do you speak and understand english or german and do you have a driver licence?

The job includes taking care of our two girls, help them with their homework, driving them from and to school, play with them, do different activities with them, do some regular housework/laundry and cooking and do occational shopping and errands, take care of our dog (Swiss Shepard) and going on dog walks with it.
The weekly working hours will be around 30h.
We offer you the feeling of being at home in our family, a fair monthly paid regular aupair-salary including paid vacation weeks, enough leisure time, a paid language course (German) and a live-in accommodation in your own and separate appartement in our house with fast internet access, TV (netflix..), your own kitchen/bathroom/living-bedroom, direct access to the garden and an outdoor whirlpool, your own little terrace/balcony with a beautiful view over the lake of Zug and the mount Rigi.
You will be able to get in contact with other aupairs you will meet in your german course and our au pair who is staying with us now will be still here when you arrive and can tell you many things and answer your questions.
The public transportation connections are vey good and from time to time you can as well borrow one of our cars.
During summer times you will be able to go swimming in the lake, be on our boat and do some wakeboarding or surfing.
In the winter months you are close to the mountains to go skiing or sledging and may be you come for some days to our mountain house.
As we both work as pilots we can offer you cheaper tickets to fly home or go on holidays.
The job starts by arrangement around earliest in August latest in September 2024 and ends after 1 or 2 years, depending of the legal possibilities (EU or NOT EU) and of course your own intentions.
