I’m a single mum with three wonderful boys. They are 11, 9 and 7 years old. The boys and I are looking for somebody who really wants to become a part of our family, join us for outdoor activities and have fun with us not just see this as a job. Somebody who will bring positive energy and who likes to play join in the games but who also can be responsible and setting limits when needed.
My boys all like hanging out with friends, playing football or floor ball, biking, climbing trees. And of course playing computer&video games but i think I’m doing a pretty good job keeping that at an healthy level. They all like reading or that I read to them and they listen a lot to music. There are a bunch of boys living on the same street so they often have friends home or are at the neighbours. We also have two playful and cuddly, cozy cats in our family.
I’m working at the local hospital and really enjoy my work. I love the outdoors all seasons and bring the boys outdoors with me. I do some running preferable trail which is so fun and challenging at the same time. Looking for a choir to join but there just haven’t been enough time.
We are living in a village outside of Lulea in northern Sweden. Long winters with cross country skiing, downhill skiing, skating and other winter activities. Summers with running, biking, swimming, hiking, climbing, kayaking. This is a calm place and a good place for the boys with friends nearby and school within one kilometre from home. Still just 10 minutes by car to town.
We have had au pairs three times before when the boys were younger and that has been great experiences. Now their father and I have recently separated and as he can be away working long periods I want to create a good life for the boys and me where we are not dependent on him. I want them to have more than one adult in their life as they deserve more time and attention than I can give them on my own. They will of course sometimes stay with their father but as he can be away for months I’m the one to provide a stable base for them.
The boys are bilingual since dad comes from Finland and I’m Swedish. We also speak English quite often and the boys knows some English, which is great.
As all the boys are going to school you will have quite a lot of time off daytime. Working hours are usually mornings and afternoons/evenings and some weekends and nights but flexible since my work schedule is different every week.

The most important task is to take care of the boys when I’m working night shifts or weekend shifts. Usually some four night and one weekend per month but it varies. Then to be part of seeing the boys off to school and great them when they return home. Take them to and from sport activities.
You would also be preparing breakfast, lunch, dinner some days of the week. Assist with grocery shopping and assist in keeping the house neat and tidy.
As they boys all go to school you will have quite a lot of time off daytime.
