I moved with my two sons, 11 and 15, to Japan about a 5 years ago. We recently moved to Setagaya.
They both like bike riding, reading, video games, play dates, drawing, singing, rock climbing, hiking, exploring Japan. One is quiet the other speaks a lot they are both social with sitters.
An ideal candidate would have mom or big sister vibe, love children, cooking, being organized and the world.
You should be a good influence. It's a pretty easy position, but requires caring about kids, not just showing up and putting in the time.

We are on the TY line, so easy from Shibuya or Yokohama.
I live with my two sons, 11 & 15, in Setagaya.
The work generally includes watching the kids and preparing lunches and dinners for them, picking up the children from school, and being around in the afternoons in case they need something.
We have two very affectionate cats. Great if you like cats, bad if you are allergic.
There position is fairly happy and low stress.
I need help for 3-5 hours during the day, although I can hire fulltime. Good position for someone who also does remote work part time.
I expect to need to go 1-2 times on business trips for a few days. There are other friends who would also help support the kids then. They are usually pretty easy.
