Hello! We are a multilingual family - I speak Hungarian with our son, my husband speaks German. Our little boy celebrates his birthday on Halloween. We are fun-loving (fairly technology-crazy - though our little boy is not allowed screen time) and since my parental leave ended with his first birthday, are looking for a nanny to spend time with him during my working hours.

We are looking for a nanny, who practices the Pikler/RIE philosophy, to look after our son while we work. If you are familiar with RIE, you will know, that I don't expect nor want our son to be entertained / played with (adult-led play), but to be fully supported in his independent play, not to be distracted, but acknowledged in his feelings and emotions, not to punish or praise, but to apply natural consequences and to *see* what he does and to state this - and to be fully present during caring activities, letting him know *what's happening next*.

You should be reliable, patient, caring and be able to try to think of things from the baby's point of view, rather than projecting what you think is happening.
Benefits - being able to support and watch this young human being blossom as he develops and grows - I think it is beautiful to watch the intrinsic motivation that babies possess and to follow this to learn and develop in their own individuality.
