We are looking for a nice and easygoing au pair to help us out since the birth our second son.
We live in a 3 story house in a Frankfurt and we have two extra bedrooms on the second floor that you can choose one from for yourself. There is also a second bathroom on the second floor that you could use.
In our free time we like to chill and grill in our garden or travel to close by destinations such as the Netherlands and France. As a member of the family you are welcome and encouraged to join planing for our trips.
We also have an extra bicycle so you can ride to the city center in 15 to 20 minutes if you wish (for example if you have a German language course)
With us you get the full experience of living with a German family that uses English in everyday communications so you always know what we are talking about ;). However I speak Arabic with the kids, my wife speaks German to them, but all other communications (Between my wife and I, or with our friends) are in English. I also speak fluent Thai so if you are from Thailand am happy to speak with you in Thai.
We do not believe in writing strict rules about what is and what is not your job, so if you are interested just talk to us to formulate a plan.
Generally speaking we want someone to play with the kids on the weekends and public holidays so that my wife and I can have some quality time when we need to.
We would appreciate you helping us out with house work just as a normal family member would. (e.g. Laundry, Dish Washer, cooking... etc) We are very flexible so we just need to share the work load after we talk about what you like/can do.
Workdays between 9:00 - 15:00 you can have your own activities (such as language course)
Weekends and Holidays when the kids are at home is when we need help the most. But we can always move things around to suit you schedule. I can't seem to be able to write messages to members, so if you are interested please send us a message.
