Job Description
INTRODUCTION
We are two warm, friendly families in our early 30s looking for a skilled, experienced live-out au pair who can support us as both housekeeper and nanny. We offer excellent working conditions, a private apartment, and access to a car.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are seeking a responsible, proactive man or woman aged 23–30 with 3–5 years of experience in housekeeping and childcare. You must be comfortable around young children, able to communicate in English, and capable of managing a variety of household tasks with independence and professionalism.
WHAT WE OFFER

• Opportunity for additional paid babysitting during weekends

WORK STRUCTURE
You will typically divide your day between both families:
• Half a day with each family on most weekdays
• Two days per week dedicated fully to one family each, focused on deeper cleaning and household organization
We plan the weekly schedule together to ensure clarity and balance.
TYPICAL WORKDAY EXAMPLE
07:30 – Arrival at Family 1 (Charlottenlund)
Tasks may include:
• Helping with breakfast
• Tidying up the kitchen
• Emptying the dishwasher
• Making beds
• Laundry and folding
• Light cleaning and organizing
12:00–13:00 – Break & Transport to Family 2
13:00 – Arrival at Family 2 (Søllerød)
Tasks may include:
• General tidying and organizing
• Making beds
• Laundry and ironing
• Grocery shopping
• Picking up the child from daycare
• Preparing dinner
• Various ad hoc tasks
17:30 – End of workday
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your tasks will include:
• General cleaning and maintaining a tidy home
• Making beds and organizing rooms
• Keeping the kitchen clean and orderly
• Laundry and ironing
• Running errands and grocery shopping
• Picking up or dropping off children at daycare
• Occasional cooking
• Ad hoc tasks such as polishing silverware, cleaning the oven, vacuuming the car, etc.
We value someone who takes initiative, notices what needs to be done, and enjoys creating a well-functioning home environment.
