Hello, We are a Danish-American family of 4. I am 45 and my husband is 46. Our son is 5 years old and quite easy. He loves to cuddle, very affectionate. Our daughter is 7 and super girly. We are a hard-working, honest family and seeking someone with those qualities. We speak English in the home as a family. I speak native English, good French, and good Danish. My husband speaks native Danish and good English. Au pair should always speak french only to our kids. We are open to any gender or a couple. We have had 4 nationalities in all live with us so we are very open; 2 single females, then 1 single male, and then 2 different couples have lived with us.
Your living situation is almost your own apartment. Our apartment is a duplex so the au pair lives downstairs with own entrance, bathroom, bedroom, microwave, refrigerator, baking oven, and hot water kettle. The laundry (for entire family) is also downstairs so we hope you enjoy doing laundry so you never have to see us in your space. You may always come hang out with us, if you want. We only go downstairs if we have to do laundry.
Our home's location is zone 1 of Copenhagen (so city center). We are less than 300m from the metro, many buses, a shopping mall, everything. Most people just bicycle everywhere in our area because we are near everything.

We need a reliable person for our daughter (7) and son (5). We are both working during the weekday so need someone to take them to daycare and light housekeeping in the home. A typical day will be to wake at 6am, have breakfast, dress them (approve their dress choices) and take to school by 8:15am latest for son or 8am latest for daughter. But both could be dropped off as early as 7:30am. Go to Danish language classes during the day (if you want), some light housekeeping (mostly toys), and pick him up by both around 3-4pm. Both of them have to be picked up before 5pm. Day would end around 7pm (bedtime) at the latest but usually my husband likes to take over with the kids when he comes home. Once you are off, you can go out with friends you meet in Danish classes or tour the city. Copenhagen is very historical/touristic. Au pair should always speak french only to kids.
