We are a Russian/Cypriot couple in our early 40's with two wonderful children, a boy aged 4 and a girl age 9. We live on sunny island called Cyprus in a very private and quiet area.

We both work in the property industry and therefore are often away from home and often move around and thus might require assistance not only in our house but on other properties.

We consider ourselves as a kind and caring family and are very children oriented. We really hope that we can find a respectable couple that will fit perfectly with our lifestyle and care for our children and household with affection and honesty.

Our family of 4 (two children ages 9 and 4) is looking for an experienced, trustworthy, honest and caring married couple to join our household in Cyprus on a long-term basis to help us run the daily household duties.

The female candidate needs to be experienced and be able to independently take care of responsibilities such as daily cleaning of the house, full handling of the laundry and ironing, changing bedding, window cleaning, cooking when necessary, as well as other household chores. Other duties will include feeding the family's pets, preparing children for school and occasionally watching the children when we are working or away; therefore, prior experience of working with children is an absolute must. Any tutoring experience, especially in special needs will be an enormous advantage.

The male candidate needs to have sufficient experience with yard work and landscaping as our house has a very big garden with a lot of grass, bushes, fruit trees, flowers, vegetables etc that will need to be kept clean and tidy at all times. His duties will include the basic maintenance of the house, the swimming pool and other outdoor facilities. Other duties may include the occasional car wash, assistance with heavier duties like carrying groceries, moving furniture etc. Any handyman and construction/maintenance skills will be considered a great advantage. A vehicle driving licence or the willingness to obtain one will also be a huge benefit as the house is located in a rural location (A family car will be provided when needed).

We are currently in the process of finishing our new house and will require assistance with the relocation and settling in, which is great because the candidates will have the perfect opportunity to get to know and have an input in the organisation of the household and their own personal space.

The couple will be provided with a private living area independent of the main house with one bedroom, private bathroom, small open plan living room and kitchenette. All utilities, food, groceries and necessities will also be provided.

To conclude, I would like to add that we are a friendly and loving family that always treats our employees with respect and kindness. We would like to have a trusting and warm relationship with the couple that will join our family, built on honesty, fairness and mutual understanding. We are looking for a family with the same values that love children, believe in traditional morals, respect, personal boundaries and privacy and one that has a clear understanding of their duties and responsibilities without the need for constant repetition. Because of this, we are only interested in hiring a couple that intends to stay with our family for a long/indefinite time (provided of course, we are both happy with each other) and eventually become a crucial and loved part of our family.

We are offering a salary between EURO 250 - 400 per person, depending on experience and skills.

The working schedule will be 8 hours per day with 1 day off per week. Plus an additional 10 days leave per year.

It is important for the candidates to be willing to travel with the family if needed and on occasion, work on other properties of the family but of course, only within and not exceeding their working hours.

We will accept candidates of all ages and nationalities but fluent knowledge of English is absolutely essential by both candidates.
