Family's Introduction to
We are now living in the heart of Shanghai, China. I heard this program from one of my friends (who applied for this program as aupair a few years ago) and thought this is a perfect fit for both you and our family. We are a family of three. I studied in New York and London and am an international lawyer for a Chinese company. My husband is a cardiologist. Our son is 4.5 year old and studying at a Chinese-English bilingual kindergarten. He is an energetic boy with a wide range of interests, and likes playing football, basketball, singing, and reading. With us, you will not just be an Au Pair, but part of our family. We will ask you to come with us on holidays if you want, to explore Shanghai etc... We will also provide you the opportunity to learn Mandarin if you are interested in.
We look forward to starting a new journey with you! See you soon!
Main responsibilities: 1. Send my son to school around 8:00 am and pick him up from school around 3:30 pm. 2. Spend quality time with my son, for example, playing with him, reading books to him, doing exercises and assignments with him, such as phonics, math. 3. Light house chores, such as keeping general environment of house clean, wishing dishes (we have a cook to work 2 hours per day, including preparing dinners). 4. Ensure child is kept safe, happy and looked after. In your spare time, you can explore the city (Shanghai is China's financial centre), learn mandarin and etc. We expect to find a caring, patient, optimistic and broad-minded Au Pair to come to our family and be a friend of our family. Most of all, we expect the Au Pair to be honest and upright. If you are interested in learning mandarin, we are more than happy to provide such opportunities for you!
