My name is Katie, and I’m a 40-year-old Australian currently living in the UK and hoping to combine two things I love most: caring for children and travel. I was born in the UK, so it has been lovely returning and feeling like a local again.

I have over 15 years of experience working in the early childhood sector in Australia, including leadership and teaching roles, as well as 18 months volunteering in a children’s home in Indonesia. I also nannied for two separate families in London between 2017 and 2018.

Caring for and investing in children is, in my opinion, one of the most important and rewarding jobs in the world. I feel incredibly privileged to have played a role in so many children’s lives over the years - though truthfully, they have taught me just as much as I have taught them.

I was raised in a loving Christian home alongside my two sisters, and I’m now a proud aunt to five nieces and nephews whom I absolutely adore. Growing up in a stable and caring environment helped shape me into someone who values kindness, integrity, patience, and genuine connection with others.

Combined with my professional experience, I believe these qualities allow me to bring warmth, reliability, creativity, and calm support into the lives of the families I work with. I would love the opportunity to become a trusted and positive presence in your home and a blessing to your children.
