I am Joan Marie L. , 26 years of age from Philippines, formally expressing my interest in becoming an Au pair of your family if ever you haven’t found the perfect Au pair yet.
I want to become an Au pair because the taste of American culture that I was able to experience last March-June of 2018 for my work and travel program was quite short. I want to learn more of your culture, I want to gain more friends from different places of different races and culture, and also want to travel more places.
Being the eldest of the family who have 5 children with 2 younger brothers and 2 younger sisters I can say I’m quite experienced when it comes to childcare.
At a young age, I was tasked to take care of my younger siblings for my mom is very busy earning a living.
I have 2 years babysitting and tutoring experience in the United Arab Emirates and tasks includes helping the parents in taking care of their kids specially the youngest, preparing kids' meal for school and playdates, preparing their outfits every time we go out. Playing with kids and helping them with their school works are included.
These experiences enabled be to even become more responsible, independent, street-smart, kind, understanding and most of all, god-fearing. I’m also easy to get along with, open-minded, and fast-learner.
