Dear host family,
My name is Mherie Joy but you can call me Joy and I would like to describe myself with this letter. It was always a great dream of mine to live and work in a foreign country and I am really excited that it will become a reality soon. I would like to go abroad to experience new culture and new environment and to gain new experiences. Keeping children happy and safe is my number one priority. I keep them under a watchful eye and always make certain they avoid dangerous situations. I am good at helping them follow rules and encourage them to clean up after themselves while I help them do so. I prepare good-tasting meals for children and take into account all dietary requests and requirements. I make certain children follow set schedules and take naps so they are well-rested. I am happy person loves to read stories for the kids and I am also tidy and well-organized. If allowed by the family, I schedule fun outings to parks, gardens, zoos and museums so the children can see their community and all it has to offer them. I would be a terrific nanny for your children I would like to tell something about my family:
My family is a typical Filipino family. My mother is a housewife and. She is a nice and friendly person and likes to talk with other people (I also like to go out and to talk with other people). My father works as an company driver in a shipping line and he is the opposite of my mother because he is quiet and just wants to share his free time with his wife and family. I have a good relationship to my siblings and my parents. My sister is a nurse and my two younger brothers are still attending school.
I am a creative and ambitious young woman because I have a lot of ideas about my future. I am interested in all kinds of sports and for this reason thats why I took Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Physical Education. I helped to organize some sports events.I am a member in an athletic club where I am the coach of a group of children between the ages of 6 and 12, but I trained also older teenagers. The group consists of nearly 10 boys and 15 girls with different characters and interests and it is sometimes difficult to motivate the children. But I like to do this job and it gives me new energy because I really love “my” children. It is important to be punctual because the parents wait for their children. I am cheerful and sensitive for the children’s needs. It is not always easy to take care of children but it is a great experience to share some time with them. I have much patience because I trained this skills during my coaching time in the athletic club and during my other baby-sitting jobs. I think it is the wrong way to shout at children. I have the strength to set them limits if necessary and I am consequent. I try to be I try to be polite, creative and humorous. It is a dream of mine to go to Abroad and I can combine it with a wonderful and interesting job: to care for your children. I do not have problems to help in the household. I really love cooking. I learned it in the school where I passed the final exams in service & cooking(T.L.E subject) Another hobby of mine is reading. I read all kind of books.
