Greetings,
My name is Jerlyn and I write this letter to you in hopes of grabbing your attention to spare one or two minutes of your time to read this letter.
I’m a young girl who is currently applying to become an Au Pair. Now a days I currently work as a cashier at my aunt’s salon. This year I graduated in Business Administration major in Human Resources. In the future I want to build further on this education of mine, but right now my dream is to explore some parts of the world and I hope becoming an Au Pair can help me with that dream.
My family isn’t really that big. I only have one sibling and when I was only 5 years old, my mother passed away, which was very tragic. Because of this, me and my older sister have been living with my grandmother and grandfather since then, and despite what happened, we have been very happy. My father lives in the province alone, but we still talk from time to time.
I really love and enjoy staying with a host family that have two or more children, because I really like children. I love taking care of them, because they are so cute, innocent, funny, lovable and very adorable.
I love doing some activities for example: Swimming, cooking, reading books and sports. I do also love to sing, but my voice may not the be best, but it makes me happy, so I don’t care about my voice. Here in life, everybody should do what makes them happy. Other interests are traveling and sightseeing beautiful places in the world.
If should find myself with some spare time, I would likely spend it with the children; teaching them activities and having fun with them. I am really passionate about taking care of children and to do house hold chores, because it can help me grow and to be prepared to be a good future wife someday.
At the age of only 6 years old, my dear grandma trained me to do house hold chores. I see myself a very disciplined person thanks to her.
I heard about the ’ and it seemed really interesting to me; the program between host families and the cultural exchange system. I really want to learn and experience the culture and language of other countries.
I have the conscience that I can truly say, that I am capable of being a good Au Pair for your family. If I should describe myself then I would say that I’m passionate, responsible, patient, honest, open, respectful, reliable, dedicated, trustworthy and hardworking. I would be eternally grateful, if I could get the opportunity to live with your family and prove myself.
