Dear Future Host Family,
Hello! I am in search for my first family match. I've been yearning to be and Au Pair for quite some time and now I'm ready. I am 18 years old. I recently graduated high school, I am fluent in English and I adapt quite easily to new situations.
I can cook, make desserts. I am independent, responsible, mature, creative,playful and patient. I like to make up fun little stories and read a whole bunch as my hobby, however,during the summer when I would visit my cousin's we'd always make up and play games outside which I'll gladly share with the family. I am not a picky eater, I like embracing and trying new food's. Though I have asthma, I manage it well and it doesn't bother me as much, so I consider myself to be in good health.
I am impassioned about taking care of children. I've had many experiences with taking care of children. I have four younger siblings ages 1-7 and my mom just had my youngest sibling, being 1 years old. While growing with them I've helped my mom and step mom with feeding,cleaning and playing with them and making sure they're safe. I also toddlersat my neighbors two sons, one 5 and the other 7. I play with them outside with my puppy and push them on the swing, I made sure they were fed,clean, comfortable and safe. Last year I started babysitting a 1 year girl, so I have lots of experience with small children.
Growing up, mostly with my mom I was thought to be independent and responsible in doing my household chores, I am very familiar and comfortable with doing household chores and I'd be delighted to help you with yours. I have never liked living a life considered boring, doing the same thing over and over everyday isn't appealing to me. Which is one of the reasons why I'm highly interested in being an Au Pair, not only do I get to spend the day with creative children but I get experience a different culture,learn all I can and teaching my culture as well. I believe I'm capable of being a good Au Pair to your family as I am trustworthy and responsible in tasks given to me, independent, respectful, patient,open and most importantly family-oriented.
