I was raised as the oldest of six siblings of a variety of ages. Having had the responsibility of looking after five kids, babysitting for others and caring for two disabled persons afforded me the opportunity to experience hands on experience in childcare.
I believe that a child is the most precious little person there can ever be. I also believe that the caregiver is one of the most influential influences in a child’s life. Children should be nurtured and cared for by someone who cares, someone who are able to get down to they’re level and reach into their innermost being with patience and tender love and care.
Every part of a child’s being is influenced by love, understanding and Tender loving care. It is of the utmost importance for such a person to be able to identify with children to give them every opportunity to excel in all areas of life.
In short: The responsibility of nurturing and shaping the child’s mind into adulthood is not to be taken lightly. Caregivers should be well balanced, responsible and experienced in dealing with children of all ages; This responsibility instills personality and creativity, which is shaped by patience, kindness, longsuffering, compassion and heartfelt love.
I believe my personality and my experience places me in the unique position to influence and shape healthy and creative minds and bodies. I believe that I am a hand in glove fit for this position and I am looking forward to working with the little ones.
