Dear families,
My name is Siw, and I am an 21-year-old girl from Copenhagen, Denmark. In the summer of 2020 I graduated from my higher education at Gefion Gymnasium, in which i studied English and Social Studies as my majors.
I am currently taking a few gap years before having to continue my education at an University. In these gap years I would love to fill them with adventures, new cultures and lots of learning experiences.I am very fascinated by other countries and their cultures/traditions - and how it’s different from my own country - and i think it’s an exceptional opportunity to learn through the possibility to be a babysitter or nanny for a family in another country.
Furthermore, I would describe myself as an openminded, curious and calm girl. I am ready to help with the daily tasks, that will be required in the job - and that it will be done properly. I have an up to date drivers license, and therefore driving won’t be a problem - and I got my drivers license in March 2019, so I’m no stranger to driving either.
I spend my first gap year 2020-2021 in Switzerland with a family consisting of 2 boys (11 and 9 years d), and it was a great experience to get to know them and have fun with them. My second gap year I spend in France with two different families; firstly a family consisting of a boy and a girl (2 and 4 years old), and afterwards a family consisting of a boy and girl (10 and 12 years old). And I loved sharing my culture with them, while also being able to take in theirs.
