Dear family,
My name is Diana. I am 24 years old and from The Phiippines.I live here in Limhamn.
I worked as an aupair in a danish host family in Denmark where I was responsible of taking care of 3 girls -- twins(7 months old when I started) and the eldest who is 2 year old.
I was also tasked to do some light housework as we have a housekeeper that comes weekly. I was mainly focused on taking good care of the twins as my hosts were very busy.
When I finished my 2 year contract with my host in Denmark, I then found a new host in Oslo,Norway where I took care of 3 boys (total opposite of my previous host family's kids) ages 3,5, and 9 for half a year. Working in Oslo was completely different as I was more responsible with making the house more clean and doing the laundry.
With my stay in Denmark and Norway, learning and adapting to the culture was great. I learned Danish fast as my host mom always encouraged me to speak the language hence giving me the oppurtunity to understand a little bit of Norwegian.
Been living here in Sweden for almost 4 years, I can now speak Swedish quite fluently which wouldn't be a problem for conversations with your kids.
In Philippines, I am responsible taking care of schoolboys and schoolgirls needing help with their homework. I am often given this task by the Senior Management of the school and often I am recommended by parents who know me as a responsible help teacher becoming a good friend with their children.
Outside school I am the one who takes care of the children in our family when it is needed. And I take care of our elders together with my mother and my sister. We have a big family and in Philippines cousins, gran cousins, uncles, aunts etc are close family, so our family is very big :-). We enjoy their trust and the responsibility of taking care.
I would like to use my experience in a job as your nanny ANYTIME when you need me and if I am lucky to be accepted by you I will be very very proud and I will take my responsibility as trusted to this important job by you and your family very serious.
