My name is Bahati, and I am a 21-year-old from Denmark with roots in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. I grew up in a small town called Farsø in Nordjylland and later moved to Aalborg for high school. Living in a bigger city gave me valuable experiences and a sense of independence.

I would describe myself as responsible, warm, and open-minded. I enjoy spending time with children and engaging them in creative activities that spark their curiosity. I am patient, adaptable, and always willing to help where needed. I believe every day brings new opportunities for growth and fun, which is why I love working with kids.

I come from a large, loving family with eight siblings, which has given me hands-on childcare experience from a young age. Growing up in a busy household taught me the importance of patience, flexibility, and communication. I truly value the close relationships I have with my family and friends—we love celebrating milestones together and simply enjoying each other’s company.

I completed my high school education in Aalborg, where I developed a strong sense of responsibility and independence. Although I am not currently in university, I am always eager to learn and grow. I have gained practical childcare experience through babysitting and caring for my younger siblings. Additionally, I completed a short internship at a daycare, where I worked with children of various ages. I speak fluent Danish, English, and Kiswahili, and I have an intermediate level of French. I am eager to improve my French further and immerse myself in the language and culture during my time as an au pair.
