I can cook because I have been cooking for my family since elementary school. Now, once I am at home, I take care of the household chores and cook for my family. Although I don't have many types of dishes to cook, whenever I see something delicious, I always study how to make it. What I pay the most attention to is breakfast and dinner. Breakfast is because at the beginning of a new day, I must go and enjoy it. Once I am in a hurry, I feel that the day is not going well. Another thing is dinner. I think dinner is very important because it means that the family can sit together, talk about daily things, and share happiness.
I also have a great time playing with my cousins. From the age of 1 to 18, I can quickly integrate with them. The person I have the most contact with is my cousin, who is 13 years old and is in a rebellious period of youth. Because we are very close to his family, I always talk to him every time I come home and change his rebellious period. I know this road is long, but I can slowly make changes.
I believe that a family is looking for a reliable person who is responsible, serious, and loves their children. However, I think it is only after contact that I can slowly find out whether the person is suitable for me, which is basically difficult to see in the text. Resume no matter how good, may not be suitable for their own. This is my first time as an au pair and certainly no other au pair has experience. And I also have my shortcomings. But I can assure you that I am a very responsible person. Especially for children and older or even a stranger, I will be more careful than others to pay attention. Because they may because of my lack of attention, something unexpected will happen. If they get hurt, I'll be very sad. (Once, at a family reunion, families gave me their children and asked me to take them. One of the younger children, two years old, lost his footing on the way down the stairs and I immediately lifted him onto me. I fell down the stairs, but he's fine. But at that time, I was still sad, if I didn't react quickly, he would get hurt.
If you are good to me in our relationship, I will be very touched in my heart and do a lot of things for you silently. I dare to believe that I will treat you better than you treat me. I introduced myself by saying that I wanted to meet families who would treat me as if I were their own child and treat me as theirs.
Although you can see my self-introduction, I would like to fight for myself and give you a more detailed introduction: I am a computer science student from China. I will finish all the courses of this semester in November 2024 and usher in my free internship time. I will graduate from my undergraduate program in June 2025. During this time, I hope I can go to a new environment, explore the unknown myself, and save enough money for the first year of my master's degree.The most important reason is that I really like kids, when I meet kids, I always want to play with them, it's very happy, because it's very easy to make friends with them. So I chose to be an au pair.
I spent more time in my grandparents' home when I was young, so I began to cook and do housework for them in primary school. When it comes to cooking, I especially like to study the dishes that I like when I go out to eat and then cook them myself. I cook more Cantonese food because I'm from Guangzhou. But I also cook a little bit of Western food, such as pasta (my brother used to say that the proper pasta sauce is made slowly from fresh tomatoes, which takes a long time). That's why I make my own pasta sauce.) I love drinks and I try to find new ones from time to time. But everything I cook, before I give it to them, I try it myself. Languages, I can speak Mandarin, Cantonese (because I am from Guangzhou), English. I can teach them to speak Chinese and spread different cultures to them. During this period, I can also go deeper into your culture.
I'm a computer student, and this is the right age for programming, so I can learn to give them a sense of what it is in a fun way. Although I will not be the best, I can learn again, which can also strengthen the foundation for myself.
Sports, I can swim, run, play badminton, climb mountains, etc., can accompany them to do sports, so that they have less contact with electronic products.
In August, I just finished the summer school of learning German in Heidelberg, and now I know some basic German words. I’m so happy. And then meet many new friends. They are so nice.
