Introduction
My name is "Bex" . I prefer to be referred to as Bex and using They/Them pronouns. I am a recent undergrad alum from a historical women's college (Agnes Scott College) where I studied political science/politics. I was fortunate to receive the Posse scholarship, a nationally recognized merit based full tuition scholarship. I love science, social sciences, art, and collaboration. Growing up I was taught about a growth mindset and how important it is to try new things, even if it isn't perfect. Tenacity and grit are important to be found as a tool for self independence and overall growth. I have experience as a baby sitter for a short period with 3 young boys in my undergrad. I would love to support with speech therapy, mindful creative play or reading, help with homework, and plenty of outdoor fun!
Currently no experience as an Au Pair. I would like to become an Au Pair abroad because I have previous experience working with kids and living abroad. I would like to make an impact as I live and travel to different countries.
Fun facts: I went to private school growing up. I grew up raising generations of chickens. I love playing volleyball. I was an Aztec/Mexica dancer for 7 years. My favorite color has always been blue. I like to draw, sing, dance, play games, watch movies and tv shows! I have spent 5 months in New Zealand and Japan in my study abroad year. Junior year was the best! I hope to be a community resource specialist, a librarian and/or a social worker after being an Au Pair!
