Hi! My name is Marissa and I’m 24 years old from a really small town in Michigan. I’m looking for an opportunity to live somewhere new and help out a family who could use an extra set of hands with their kids.

For the past few years I’ve worked at a community mental health organization where I support kids, and sometimes adults, with autism. A lot of what I do involves helping with daily routines, keeping kids engaged with activities, encouraging independence, and just making sure they feel comfortable and supported. It’s taught me a lot about patience and understanding different personalities and needs.I really enjoy working with kids and being someone they feel safe and comfortable around. I’m easygoing, dependable, and always happy to help with things like getting kids ready for school, helping with homework, doing activities, or just keeping them busy and having fun.Since I grew up in such a small town, I’ve been wanting the chance to experience somewhere new while still doing work that I care about. Becoming an au pair feels like a great way to do that while also helping a family that could use the support. In my free time I like being outside, spending time with animals, watching movies, and just relaxing. I’m a pretty patient and caring person, and I genuinely enjoy building connections with the kids I work with. I’d love to learn more about your family and see if we might be a good fit.
