Dear, Future Host Family
Thank you so much for showing interest in me as your next Au Pair. As you may know, I am a 'Return Au Pair' and I couldn't be more excited to be back. Living abroad has taught me so much, and I can't wait to continue this journey with you.
First of all, you can call me Bella. I am currently an Au Pair in The Netherlands living in The Hague. Have you been here before? It's beautiful (highly recommend it if you like/love to cycle).
I know you're wondering why again and I have a simple answer: I love the country and culture altogether. Living abroad has been the most exciting thing that I've done so far, and even though I live in Europe, I still want to go back and enjoy it even more specially when COVID destroyed my second year. I can't wait to eat a New Yorker pizza, Annie's pretzels, American Waffles & Lucky Charm Cereal again.
I enjoy sightseeing specially movie locations where my favorite movies/tv shows were filmed.
I am an easygoing person and also helpful, organized, fast learner and respectful. I love to read romantic novels (I- Heart-Nicholas Sparks), go out with friends to eat in a beautiful restaurant, travel to exciting cities and explore, eating street food on random days, or (running into a Brazilian steakhouse when homesick hits hard).
What I expect in this program is to enjoy as much as I can, specially now where I know this is my last time as an Au Pair. I hope to be able to meet new people, travel to new places and have a healthy relationship with a host family. Usually I worry about how the children will react with me for the first time and if you will enjoy my stay as well.
As an experienced Au Pair in the United States I had fun, became more mature and learned a lot about the American culture. I am excited to extend this experience with your family, and share my culture with your children as well.
